Montauk Cultural Day

The Tel Aviv Museum of Art's American Friends (TAMAF) hosted a captivating cultural day that combined art and conversation, creating a memorable day in the scenic town of Montauk, New York. This exceptional day was a unique blend of artistic exploration and social engagement that left a lasting impression on all who attended.

The event commenced at the remarkable South Etna Foundation, a dynamic space that has managed to attract contemporary artists from various backgrounds to the heart of Montauk. South Etna serves as a fitting backdrop to showcase the artistic talents of today.

A highlight of the day was the personally guided tour of the Richard Mayhew exhibition, thoughtfully conducted by the gallery's owner, Adam Lindemann. As guests explored the works of Mayhew, they were able to gain deeper insights into the artist's creative process and the stories behind each masterpiece. This intimate encounter with the art added a layer of depth and appreciation to the entire experience.

Following the gallery tour, the gracious hosts, Amalia Dayan, and Adam Lindemann, opened their own home to the attendees for a delightful cocktail soiree. Their warm hospitality and beautiful residence provided the perfect setting for guests to unwind, socialize, and reflect on the art they had just encountered.
