Join us as we reflect on the highlights of this year's International Council gathering, a four-day event filled with art, culture, and meaningful connections.
Day 1: We kicked off the event with the grand opening of "Cascade" by Muhammad Abo Salme, a stunning site-specific installation at the Herta and Paul Amir Building. The evening continued with a festive cocktail reception hosted by the Israeli Friends of TAMA and an engaging encounter with Shahar Molcho, our newly appointed curator of contemporary art. The day concluded with a delightful dinner at Toto.
Day 2: The second day offered an exclusive guided tour of the new exhibitions at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. Attendees enjoyed a gourmet lunch at the newly renovated Eyal Ofer Pavilion's restaurant, Helena. The day ended with a memorable traditional Shabbat dinner hosted by Irith Rappaport and Glen Perry at Reading 3.
Day 3: We embarked on a special excursion to the pastoral moshav Kfar Yehoshua in the Jezreel Valley, Galilee, visiting artist Elie Shamir's studio. After a delightful lunch, we toured the Wilfrid Israel Museum of Oriental Art and Studies at Kibbutz Hazorea, followed by a visit to the inspiring Ecological Greenhouse. The day culminated in a celebration at the home of TAMAF board members Rivka Saker and Uzi Zucker in Caesarea.
Day 4: The final day began with the Board of Governors Plenary Sessions, featuring annual reports and highlighting TAMA's achievements abroad. We then visited Hostage Plaza to hear the testimony of a liberated hostage. Lunch was hosted at Gordon Gallery by Amon Yariv. The event concluded with the Honorary Fellows Award Ceremony, honoring Catarina Amon, Pamela Crystal, Roni Gilat-Baharaff, and Michal Rovner, followed by a farewell dinner at Pastel hosted by Christie's.
We look forward to welcoming you to future events, continuing our mission to celebrate and promote the arts. Stay tuned for more updates and opportunities to engage with our vibrant community.
